here's some stuff that's gonna be for my senior show at Olivet. It mixes two dimensional art with three dimensional aspects such as cut wire,paper and other miscellaneous things. enjoy.

Ink Wire and a Bird

Drawn with ink. Bits of wire super glued to the paper, and the bird it cut paper and wire. it was fun using tweezers to place all the pieces of wire and then super gluing them to my hands >_<.

Sorry about the crappy quality pictures, it was with my phone.
all the color is individual pieces of string hand glues on or cut paper. The waterfall is watercolor and the hand and pencil are colored pencil.
The birds are cut paper with a little wire and beads for accent, hot glued together. they are three dimensional and will pop out.
hope to get it all together soon. the rest of the color on the design will probably be oil pastel which will match the vibrancy of the string but be mush less time consuming and I might not go completely mad. I'd love to do all string but I just don't have the time or patience.

"Follow Me"

Ink and watercolor. My first attempt at watercolor. a Alice in Wonderland twist using an imp form World of Warcraft. two of my favorite things.

"whispers"

umm..just an interesting Idea I came up with for a water color. the assignment was people.
I liked it, I thought it was a spiffy idea. I love the idea of hints, or large quantities, of irony in my pieces. The meaning to this is kinda up to interpretation.

"Beautiful Darkness"

This is a watercolor of two characters of my own from a comic me and my friend plan to make: "Beautiful Darkness".
This is one of my favorite pieces and I was extremely pleased with the way it turned out.
